Seller's Description:
Used-very good in Near very good jacket. Sm 8vo; 224pp. Inscribed by Henry Treece's wife, May (August, 1972). Additionally, laid in is an ALS from May, which sheds light on her feelings about his bio sketch being grouped with 2 others in this edition (Henry had died 6 years before this letter was written). '...Publishing economies come before personal preferences of course, but we were all aggrieved at the decision to put two reprints alongside Henry. If I go to buy pears I don't want to be forced to buy apples & oranges too. Anyway, I hope you will find the book interesting when time permits...' Our feeling is that Henry may have benefited indeed by being 'peared' with Lewis and Potter! A square, tight copy with unmarked text, in a lightly scuffed, unclipped dj which has superficial wear to extremities. Dj now protected in a removable mylar cover.
