No. 1 was issued in 1888 and was entitled Summer Days in Europe. It contained an account of a trip through England, Holland, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy and Switzerland in which I was accompanied by my wife and daughters, Constance and Bertha. No. 2 was published in 1889 and was entitled Summer Days in America. This describes a trip taken by myself and wife through the Catskills, the Adirondacks, to the Falls of Niagara, across Lake Ontario to the Thousand Islands and down the rapids of the St. Lawrence to Montreal, thence back to New York by way of Lake Champlain, Lake George, Sara toga and The Hudson River.
