Seller's Description:
Very Good. Later printing. 642pp. Pictorial wrappers. Pages with a faint tideline at bottom near spine, text block edges with corresponding dampstain at bottom and light foxing, minor edgewear, about very good. An examination of the full histories and distinct personalities of Henry VIII's wives.
Having both the book and the video version, I feel the book is much more detailed and makes you feel as if you were a witness to this interesting part of history. I have always been interested in what made Henry VIII tick. But I don't think he even knew and let his power as king make him think he could do no wrong. I have been to England prior to reading this book and someday I'd like to return and take a more indepth look at some of the areas etc., that King Henry and his wives went to. I've been to the Tower of London and it was very interesting, along with some of the other more noted churches, castles etc. If you haven't or have been to England, this book will bring it to reality and life at that time. I recommend it highly!
