A definite yes
Okay, here's the deal. I have two children. Every night after they brush their teeth and before bed, they get a story read to them. Now we have a hundred books and library loans constant. But this is the one that they like the most. Not too much words on each page so flipping through the pages is quick (for parents, it's a Godsend). We're on our second copy because they already wore the first out. From a parent who likes short books but pleases the children, this is five stars.

Great children's book
I have read this book to my oldest child (who is now an adult), eldest son who is now a teen and to my two small pre-schoolers. The reaction is the same. They all absolutely love this book. The story is engaging and humorous and keeps the attention of an age-group with the attention span of a gnat. The mouse, pig and moose become favorite characters of your children quickly and help to foster a love of reading. I am now searching for yet another replacement copy of this book as my current one is tattered from being read so often.

this is a sweet book for young children - -a great read-aloud that will hold up to many many repetitions.
