As with all of Barclay's writings, this one is excellent. This book of prayers follows the church calendar beginning with prayers for Advent and all through the year including holy days. It also has a nice section of prayers for all seasons and needs. This prayer book works well with another book by Barclay called The Plain Man's Book of Prayers.

Excellent daily deveotional book!
This is a wonderful collection of prayers, meditations and corresponding scripture readings that can be used as a daily devotional. The author has also listed many devotional prayer meditations for specific days on the calendar such as the Sundays of Lent, the various religious holidays, and days dedicated to various saints and holy days. I have thoroughly enjoyed this book as an inspirational guide and would recommend it to anyone looking for guidance in their devotional life.
