At length, corporations were eltablilh cd in all the towns that is to fay, the Rate au thorifed all perfons of the fame profefiion, to make foch regulations as they fhould think ne cell'ary for their exclufive prefervation and fue ccfs. The nation is Frill opprefl'ed with a re gulation fo contrary to general indufiry, and which reduces every thing to a kind of mono poly. Em confidering fuch a number of {trange laws, we might be induced to think that Henrv was either indifferent about the profperity of his kingdom, or that he was totally deficient in un dcrfianding.
