This tale by Judy Blume is immensely strong and filled with passion. Teenagers can relate to the characters and there are numerous parts that evoke powerful emotions from the reader. Blume does in excellent job when writing about intimate moments and the characters really become alive. This book would be appropriate for high schoolers, especially in an open discussion group. Many discussions could be made about sex, intimacy, the concept of love, and a list of other topics. Blume writes in a style that leaves the reader thinking, even after the book has closed. It is great for a second read, or a third, or more.

THE ABSOLUTE BEST!
Wow, i have read this book prolly three. It is by far my all time favorite. You get to know the characters inside and out, and you begin to feel like you really know them. I think all teenagers should read this. It is not pornographic, it is nothing like that. It is a beautiful teenage love story, and a tear- jerker. I felt for the characters when a bad thing would happen. After I read the book, the rest of my day along with then next day; i was mentally addicted- but in a good way. The is nothing else that i can say. Read this book! Read it now- you will be extremly happy that you did! I am totally thrilled that i did. Well, I'm going to go read it again. bye
