Complete & utter tripe. That about sums it up. If Meyer just would have stopped with New Moon, the Twilight series might have just left its mark on the world as a subpar, not particularly creative, yet unaccountably popular vampire love story. Then we get Breaking Dawn, and the whole series is turned to pure POISON. Let's list all the bad things that Breaking Dawn all but endorses: teen marriage, teen pregnancy, having a baby and then ignoring her & dumping her on your in-laws, total financial dependency on your husband, and the worst of the bunch, pedophilia (through Jacob & his creepy-as-all-get-out obsession with a 7 year old). Breaking Dawn was flat out disturbing to me, and I can't believe more people aren't screaming about how this is harmful to all the little teenage girls who absorb everything to do with Twilight like sponges. I bought all 4 books without even really knowing what this series was about, just because I heard everyone was reading them and stupidly thought to myself "It must be really good then!" I will never do anything like that again. It was a waste of money. From now on, any "popular" series I turn my eyes to is being ruthlessly vetted before I spend dollar one on it. I am still baffled as to why this poorly written junk has taken the world by storm. My advice? Leave Twilight in the trash can where it belongs and pick up Ellen Schreiber's Vampire Kisses series if you just HAVE to get your teen vampire love story fix. It is infinitely better written with a main girl who is actually likable.

Leaves you wanting more
Where as Eclipse seemed a little slow and perhaps a little heavy in detail, Breaking Dawn leaves you wanting more. It is entrancing and exciting. I never wanted it to end. I really wish she broke it up into two books, because there were several parts that were too rushed.
One of my favorite books, I really hope she makes a spinoff series.
