Well done. The book was in great shape and the content was a good companion to GWTW.

Awful!
This book was awful! I would give it no stars if that were an option! If I were Margaret Mitchell I would be rolling over in my grave. How can this book be based on Gone with the Wind when pivotal moments from that book are changed or gone altogether in Rhett Butlers People? Rhett and Scarlett's second meeting for instance? Changed from Atlanta to Charleston. There are more but what's the point?!?! This is supposed to be Rhett's story but their lives should still meet along the same time line! This book isn't as well written nor do the characters have the same depth as Gone with the Wind. And Rhett is turned into a simpering fool compared to the romatic hero he was in Gone with the Wind. Awful waste of money!

wonderful sequel
This book brought another aspect to Gone With the Wind. In depth view of Rhett Butler and what made him the kind of man he was. Also continued where the original left off.
GWTW fans would really enjoy this one.

Slow Start
This book was really hard for me to get into and not really interesting enough to keep my attention; I am about 1/2 way through. Once you get past the first chapter it improves and the rest makes sense. I don't think Margaret Mitchell is "rolling in her grave" but I'm not sure she would be estatic over this book either.
