Another interesting read by Alaskan mystery writer Dana Stabenow. Kate Shugak, our favorite PI, is hired by an Alaskan state trooper, Liam Clancy, to investigate an airplane accident that might have been murder. Inasmuch as his wife had a major argument with the deceased the day before the
'accident', it could be seen as a conflict of interest if he investigated. However, the first chapter in the story is about a female helicopter pilot's death in Afghanistan, but don't fear. It is connected to the story.
