This was such a good book, from both the story plot aspect to the historical viewpoint. Robin Lee Hatcher does excellent character development, fast-moving plots...and I think historical fiction is her absolute best catagory!!

Women in Politics
This historical novel explored the issue of women in politics in the early 1900's. Idaho had already allowed women to vote, but this story was about a woman who decided to run for mayor. She and her opponent fall in love. I appreciated that the author showed a respect for women's opinions and contributions to society, without putting down men in the process.
