This is a cute story. I like the pictures and the rhyming text. This books is not scary for kids either since it uses animals as examples. Here is where the problem lies. Several kids I know seem to think that strangers do not include people. A lot of these don't talk to stranger books do exclusively use animals. It may confuse children. For those who can understand that strangers include people this is a fine book. The book also says its alright to talk with Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny since everyone knows them. That part too needs some discussion. Anyone can dress up as fimilar characters and children may have to be warned about the dangers.
