This is a tough read in places. She had a hard life and made a LOT of bad decisions. What stood out to me is that she mentions anyone who ever helped her at all, including the brother of a friend of mine who was her drummer for a while. She liked Keith Richards who had 'a beautiful soul'. She tells you who she didn't like also, read the book for that - she doesn't hold back.
After struggling for most of her life, sucess and financial security came to her in middle age.. She's now in her early 70's and suffering from dementia and leukemia. I wish her peace.
