Around carefully, to see with what and with whom you are connecting yourselves, or what new social and professional relations you assume. Upon this subject there are several widely prevalent errors of exceedingly pernicious tendency, and young men who have 'not reflected much upon professional relations and duties, are exceedingly liable to fall in with these common errors, to imbibe the common prejudices, to catch and repeat the cant phrases of the profession, and thus to perpetuate without reflection some of the most serious evils of the medical profession.
