Mr. Biggers gives an excellent account of life among the Raramuri in Copper Canyon. The relaxing simplicity of this life contrasts with the daily hardships. As I read I found myself wishing I had been born and raised among the Raramuri as now I am much too accustomed to modern conveniences to adapt to a more basic existence. But as they say, you don't miss what you never had, and I envy the Raramuri their closeness with the land.
