Ex-lib hardback in dust jacket. 1969 1st edition with B&W illustrations and musical examples; volume 2 only; ex-college library copy with just a few of the usual stickers etc. Tightly bound in red cloth with gilt lettering to spine; light shelf wear to edges; light sellotape marks where dust jacket attached to cover. Dust jacket not price-clipped and protected by removable clear sleeve; spine faded with little puncture mark to sleeve. Internally, sellotape stains to endpapers; College book plate to front free endpaper; otherwise, a good, tidy copy.
