These defects include transpositions, duplications, insertions, deletions, nondisjunction and other structural abnormalities. This book is intended as a practical guide to such defects, their clinical significance, and the risks they pose for future pregnancies. Each chapter has two sections: biology and genetic counselling, the latter providing information intended to assist genetic counsellors and clients in deciding upon a course of action.
