I picked this book up one day at the library when I was about ten. I finished it before dinner. The Orindary Princess is an enchanting tale of love and self-worth. It's still a favorite of mine even almost fifteen years later.
Personally my favorite copy is the old hardcover with the beautiful illustrations and the purple and grey cover.

A Real Princess Tale
I read this book with my 6 year old daughter after our librarian recommended it. My daughter loved this book. We loved it because instead of focusing on all the "pink princess" stuff this book focuses on what really matters in a person. It was funny at times and we couldn't wait to finish and find out what happens to Princess Amy.
