Another great Boyle read
Mix a bumbling explorer in Africa, a down on his luck but likable thief, two women with hearts of gold, a crocodile, and two resurrections from death. Make it all believable, absurd, sad, and funny, and you have typical Boyle. Take your time reading this one and you'll feel as if you're actually dying of thirst in Africa, or later, freezing and destitute in the streets of London.
