NOTE: This edition features the same content as the traditional text in a convenient, three-hole-punched, loose-leaf version. Books a la Carte also offer a great value-this format costs significantly less than a new textbook. Before purchasing, check with your instructor or review your course syllabus to ensure that you select the correct ISBN. Several versions of Pearson's MyLab & Mastering products exist for each title, including customized versions for individual schools, and registrations are not transferable. In addition, you may need a CourseID, provided by your instructor, to register for and use Pearson's MyLab & Mastering products. Finite Mathematics, Eleventh Edition by Lial, Greenwell, and Ritchey, is our most applied text to date, making the math relevant and accessible for students of business, life science, and social sciences. Current applications, many using real data, are incorporated in numerous forms throughout the book, preparing students for success in their professional careers. With this edition, students will find new ways to help them learn the material, such as Warm-Up Exercises and added "help text" within examples.

this is the worst math book i ever used
Alibris is great but this math book is the worst i have ever used. it does not have enough information for someone who is just getting started with finite math. the examples are incomplete. no cd or anything like online tutoring etc. very backward. most math books now come with online information and other tips to help you better understand what is going on, this book is very limited. I have no idea why my school even picked this book it is truly the worst.
