I would recommend it for Software Design courses. It is very complete and touches on all of the aspects of building software in the workplace.

Comprehensive and Well Written for the Beginner an
Software engineering , breaks into many parts , the structure and functions of software engineering. Well written and easy to understand, without talking down to the reader. Well worth the price, and important info. A must for a Software Developers library.
