Putting down this book after starting it was next to impossible. Jeff Guidry shares his experiences and makes the reader feel that they are walking right next to him. The descriptions of the scenery (beautiful upstate Washington) and the daily events of the eagle named Freedom will capture you. A wonderful book for all ages.

Exceptional Eagle
Tender story re man who nurtured an eagle
with a broken wing (that never healed right)
to a soul-to-soul friendship even during an
extreme illness. The tenderness and kindness between the two of
them is fabulous to read about.
I had an earlier edition with only a backcover
picture of the eagle. Future issues should
have more pictures with the story.
