I loved this book! At first I wondered why it was being told in the voice of the priest's housekeeper, but who better to know what happened at the rectory! The book is tantalizing and slowly, but surely the suspense builds. Author White was ahead of his time in writing about DOUBT. Wow! Did he or didn't he? OUtstanding book!
