I walked on the moon. This is my journey. But it didn't begin when I stepped on board Apollo 11 on July 1, 1969. It began the day I was born. Becoming an astronaut took more than education, discipline, and physical strength. It took years of determination and believing that any goal is possible-from riding a bike alone across the George Washington Bridge at age ten to making a footprint on the Moon. Was hoping for something appropriate for an 11-year old. Geared more for younger children. It was a great intro for early readers to help them realize they can dream and have them come true if they're ready to work hard to achieve their goals.

Good for younger readers
This is a good book and I believe the intended audiance is in the age group of 7-8 to maybe 14 or 15. It is inspiring and easy to read. Who knows, It may help or encourage someone to follow their dreams, even if that dream is to go to the moon.
