It is always a pleasure to return to Bernard Cornwell and this book is no exception. If you are unfamiliar with this author's works, I can only suggest that you give him a try. I especially appreciate the brief section located at the end of each book that describes the author's efforts at retaining historical accuracy and where he may have departed for the sake of creating a fictional story.
