I enjoyed reading this and am a fan of most of Gerald Seymours books. The characters are very good and its easy to understand their motives and thoughts in a world where everybody is a pawn to politics, where they have to do things they would prefer not to, sometimes because they are forced to, other times because they feel it is the right thing. The story concentrates on the feelings the characters have, not many action scenes but still worth reading if you like tales of intrigue. I have read other books with more suspense although it does have its moments, as I said earlier it is mainly about the characters and things beyond their control. Overall the story and characters are believable. I enjoyed reading it and recommend others to if you like this sort of book, I wouldn't say it was his best though. This is my first review, hope it helps.
