A Faceless Killer Awaits
Burke Pine and Jim Cannon are two Texas Rangers who had worked together on several cases, but this one was proving to be their toughest to date. There job was to catch a man no one had even seen in 20 years; all they had was a name--Tass Creel--but the name was enough to send shivers up your spine. This is the kind of "western" they don't write any more, but the kind that I love to read. Wade Everett, pseudonym of Will Cook primarily, writes only the best. I could recommend any of his books, but his cavalry stories and his ranger stories are his forte', his tour de force.
