Tom has been covering the NFL since 1998 and been a long-standing member of the Pro Football Writer's of America. Tom enjoyed his "15-minutes of fame" in 2010 when helped his idol, Floyd Little, get elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Their story was featured in the July 26, 2010, issue of Sports Illustrated, "The Unexpected Hero" by award-winning writer Gary Smith. Although a life-long Broncos fan, Tom grew up in Wilmington, Delaware. Besides writing stories for Denver publications, such as Mile High Sports Magazine, Tom has continually written for his "home" team. He covered the Washington Redskins (1998-2004), while living in DC, writing for the team website, Redskins Insider, Redskins GameDay and Redskins Yearbook. Since moving to NJ in 2004, Tom has covered the New York Giants (2004-present) for TrueGridirondotcom, Giant Insider and other publications of American Sports Media. He has appeared on NFL Network, NFL SIRIUS radio, and other numerous radio stations over the years.
