He was an anti Thatcherite Tory Cabinet minister, editor and owner of 'The Spectator' in the late 1950s and a distinguished historian-author of 'Riot, Risings and Revolution' (1992), and 'The Making of the Poets: Byron and Shelley in Their Time'(2002). Very Good. Softbound book in very good condition from the collection of a faculty member at local private university. Former owner's name written in black ink at upper right corner of FFEP. Firmly bound, sharp cornered, very clean pages. Cover is glossy, and shows very light wear. There are creases at the spine. Included is a letter on The Old Forge stationery from Fleming to the former owner. The letter begins, "So sorry you had difficulty in finding 'The Myth. ' I hope you enjoy it, " and continues with a discussion of her thoughts about its publication.
