Good. 3 volume set. Not ex-library. Volume 1: the upper right and bottom right corner are bumped. Upper right corner has been bent. Volume 2 and 3 have slightly bumped corners on the bottom right. Volume 1 has some underlining in ink but the text is still legible. The other two volumes have clean pages. The bindings are tight. Inside the front cover, you will find this information. "This Dover edition is an unabridged republication of the four-volume edition published by Francis P. Harper in 1893." Vol 3 includes five illustrations as well as an index. There are folded maps included at the end of volume 1 and 2.
