Has Library tape reinforcing inside front and back covers.

Book Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. Illustrated by Carl Burger (illustrator). First Edition. [10], 158, [8] p. 21 cm. Sound and square binding, with a black, cloth-backed spine and green, cloth-covered boards. Top front corner is bumped, and all corners show some wear. Tiny ding along bottom front edge. The text block edges have light soil, with a bit of foxing to the bottom edge. Inside, both sets of endpaper have some discoloration. It has an inked price on the front free endpaper. The inside pages are generally clean and unmarked, with occasional light soil in the margins and very light age toning. The price-clipped dustjacket is frayed at both spine ends and at the corners. A very nice copy inscribed and signed by the author. First edition and printing. Very rare signed.
