Michael Foster and his wife, both retired educators, live in the Willamette Valley. He grew up on a farm in Kansas and has had little drama in his life. But the stories that find him and clamor in his head during the night are remarkable. His first two novels in the WAKANISHA series tell the story of a Lakota Sioux family that lived on the Kansas grasslands where his grandfathers farmed. His next historic novel in the WAKANISHA sequence, THUNKASHILA ARE YOU THERE is due out in late 2017.
