Shankar Khade completed M.Sc. in Biotechnology from Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded, Maharashtra, and received his M. Tech. in Biotechnology from National Institute of Technology (NIT), Rourkela. He earned his Ph.D. in Biochemical Engineering from IIT, Varanasi. Shankar Khade completed M.Sc. in Biotechnology from Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded, Maharashtra, and received his M. Tech. in Biotechnology from National Institute of Technology (NIT), Rourkela. He earned his Ph.D. in Biochemical Engineering from IIT, Varanasi. Along with being with association with ADYPU, he is also an Editorial Board Member of the journal "American Journal of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering" and Reviewer of "Preparative Biochemistry and Biotechnology" and "Signa Vitae" Journals. He has presented his Ph.D. research work at an international conference organised by NTU and AIChE in Singapore and many more National conferences. He has also published 12 peer-reviewed research articles in reputed journals and an edited book in IGI Global, USA. He has a core interest in the field of Microbial Biochemicals of therapeutic importance, Bioenergy (2G and 3G ethanol), and bioremediation. His doctoral studies were focused on the "production and Purification of uricase enzyme from microbial sources and its application in the treatment of gout disease". During M. Tech (2011 - 13) and Ph.D. (2013 - 18), he received an MHRD fellowship, Govt. of India. Later, he joined as a Project Associate at R&D, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), Bangalore, and worked in the Bioenergy area. See less
