He is also the author of The Ultimate Guide to Frying and the Big Book of Barbecue Sides . Rick holds an honorary PhB (Doctorate of Barbeque Philosophy) bestowed on him by the esteemed Kansas City Barbeque society. He lives in Vancouver, Washington.
