Author Maggie Shaw creates her stories from her many and varied life experiences. Author Maggie Shaw creates her stories from her many and varied life experiences. She wrote the Teddies of Rosehill Cottage tales after being inspired by the real life stories of how her husband's collection of teddies came to reside in their Cheshire home. She has linked up with the Crewe-based charity Hopes and Beams to use the sales of the Teddies of Rosehill Cottage books to help raise funds for their work with disadvantaged young people. Maggie is also a church musician, composer and song writer. Many of her songs and poems are inspired by the stories she writes. This is the eleventh book Maggie has published through micropublisher Eregendal.
