Jim Perrin
Jim Perrin is a renowned rock climber and author. As well as pioneering new routes on the Derbyshire gritstone outcrops, North Wales and Pembrokeshire's sea cliffs, he also has a number of first ascents and solo climbs to his name. He has published sixteen books, of which Menlove, his biography of John Menlove Edwards, and The Villain, a biography of Don Whillans co-written with Andy Cave, won the Boardman Tasker Prize for Mountain Literature.
