Jerry Lawson met his wife, Leslie, in a small church in their hometown of Eufaula, Alabama. Next came college, ministry and marriage, almost simultaneously. Along the way, God has blessed them with two beautiful girls and a son. But they found their destiny when they launched Daystar Church, along with about 100 wonderful people from Cullman, Alabama. Since that small beginning the church has grown into a large, multi-site church, serv-ing communities across North Alabama. Throughout the years, one thing has remained constant: "Daystar Church exists to transform the community through the love and power of Jesus Christ!" This church and its people have never been about num-bers, but always about seeing the love and power of Christ literally transform individuals, families and communi-ties. Nothing gives Pastor Jerry more joy than seeing what Jesus can do for people who have lost all hope. He often says, "Every religion has its own 'holy book' and shares similar stories, but nobody else has a JESUS!" There truly is no one in the world like Jesus. Pastor Lawson has also mentored hundreds of pastors through a twenty-four month on-site training process called 24toDouble.org. Jerry is the President and CEO of 24toDouble.org and continues to serve other churches through this non-profit ministry. The only thing Jerry likes to do more than church and church related activities is spend time with his family on beautiful Smith Lake in Cullman, Alabama. Leslie, Olivia, Abigail and Bryant bring more joy to his life than he ever thought possible. See less
