Dr. Indranil Samanta is an Assistant Professor at the West Bengal University of Animal and Fishery Sciences. Dr. Indranil Samanta is an Assistant Professor at the West Bengal University of Animal and Fishery Sciences. Prior to his current position, he conducted his post-graduate research at the Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI) and subsequently served as Assistant Professor at S.K. University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir (SKUAST-K). Dr. Samanta's research focuses on Indian livestock, poultry, captive birds, and pet animals as sources of zoonotic pathogens such as STEC, EPEC, EHEC, Salmonella, Klebsiella, Cryptococcus, and dermatophytes.
