Faith Connors a co-author of Flavors of the Fjords, the Norwegian-Holiday Cookbook. She has served as a Contributing Editor to British Business Today, and to the Longman Dictionary of Mass Media and Communication. She published a series of personal finance articles for the U.S. Navy s flagship publication, All Hands Magazine. For over twenty years, she served as a pre-school, elementary and secondary school teacher. A former Associate Professor at the University of Maryland, she served for over 12 years as the Extension Agent 4-H for Charles County, Maryland where she managed one of the state's largest 4-H programs, assisting youth in leadership and life skills development. In 1992 she received the National Achievement in Service Award from the National Association of Extension Agents 4-H. A native of Stamford, Connecticut, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Education degree at the University of Connecticut, and a Master of Arts in Teaching degree from Jacksonville University. She attended the University of Oslo, International Summer School and completed other graduate level studies at Bowie State University, the University of Maryland and Hood College. During a recent five year residence in Tiverton, Rhode Island, she served on the Essex Library Board of Trustees. Currently, she serves as a senior manager for BelleAire Press in Gainesville, Florida. She has two daughters, Karen and Miriam and five grandchildren. See less
