Dr. Charles Jackson was born in Itta Bena, Mississippi, the son of Henrietta Williams. Charles grew up in a busy household with eight siblings. During his youth, Charles attended segregated public schools before graduating from Leflore County High School at the age of seventeen. Dr. Charles Jackson was born in Itta Bena, Mississippi, the son of Henrietta Williams. Charles grew up in a busy household with eight siblings. During his youth, Charles attended segregated public schools before graduating from Leflore County High School at the age of seventeen. After two years at the University of Toledo, Charles decided to enter the armed forces. He was ultimately promoted to First Lieutenant before retiring with twenty years of service and an honorable discharge. However, his professional success never distracted him from his commitment to Christ. In 2009, Charles graduated Summa Cum Laude from Andersonville Theological Seminary, receiving a Masters of Divinity. In the fall of 2009, Charles was accepted into the doctoral program at Andersonville. He graduated Magna Cum Laude, receiving a Doctoral degree in Theology (Th. D) in 2011. Since his arrival in the Tampa Bay area, Charles has been a member of the St. John Progressive Missionary Baptist Church. He serves as an associate minister under the Pastoralship of Rev.
