Chef Alfred Portale has been at the kitchen helm of Gotham for 29 years. His presence at Gotham has let the restaurant a remarkable consistency earning Gotham five consecutive three-star reviews (1985, 1989, 1993, 1998 & 2011). Chef Portale opened Gotham Steak in the Fontainebleau Resort in 2007, which the Miami News recognized as Best New Restaurant and Best Steak House.
