The book is set up really well so that anyone can get the basic idea of what Ubuntu is all about. It is filled with great resources and websites to visit to expand a user's exposure to help on the internet. Obviously some of the material is outdated quickly because of the nature of Ubuntu. But, the principles, history and basic operations remain the same.
One thing that would've been helpful (which maybe is beyond the scope of the book, yet I had expected from a book labeled "Bible") is a more thorough treatment and explanation of packages available for use within Ubuntu. But, again, this changes frequently.
