Take a ride up into Cades Cove during your stay. Townsend has just the right amount of accommodations as you will see, and just enough eateries. Part of the time I "eat in" at the cabin anyhow. And if you have a hankering for a little shopping, the antique shops and artisans attract, as does the gift shop in Cades Cove. If you need a cabin rental, call Nancy at Dogwood Cabins.
