The title-page, portrait frontispiece and tailpiece vignettes all designed and etched by H.G. Webb; engraved initials by Webb, printed in black with headlines, chapter heads and shoulder notes in red. Limited to a printing of 350 copies, of which this is #26. Corners and the head and tail of the spine bumped; rubbing to edges, with an abrasion to the back board. Browning to the text block edges, as well as a few minor spots of foxing throughout the text. Overall, a bright and tight copy. A gorgeously bound, limited edition copy of Walton's The Complete Angler. The Complete Angler is not only a classic of angling literature, but also has the distinction of being among the most reprinted books in the English language. This copy contains some stunning decorations and etchings by H. G. Webb, who, along with H. D. Webb, ran the Caradoc Press.
