If you are interested in 'Tex Mex' (try it, you'll like it!) this is the book for you. Authentic recipes (I know, I've been eating it since I was but a little shaver), none too difficult for even a novice cook. The history is told in wonderful pictures and the reminences of people who were there cookin' it.
Highly recommended: I sent copies to my brothers and my sons, all of whom grew up in Texas and all of whom miss the 'native' cuisine.
