It is of value in all catarrhs of the respira tory organs. As a hepatic and stomachic stimulant sanguinarine has considerable value. It also gives gratifying results in amenorrhea and dysmenorrhea, and being a dependable sexual stimulant it is said to aid in overcoming frigidity in females.
