I've read many books on Mary Todd Lincoln, but this one I could not and will not finish. The way she was treated and protrayed was just too hard to read. I gave the book to a friend who loves to read books about the Lincolns more than I do, and she could not finish the book either. I don't know maybe I read too many, but I could not get into this one nor did I care for the way she was railroaded.
