I read "A Town Called Alice" many years ago and thought it was one of the best books ever, and I recently watched the mini series from the book. That got me looking for other Nevil Shute Books. This one was just as good!
He has a way of making his characters come alive. He makes you feel a part of the story. I hated finishing this book and putting it away. I plan to buy many more of his books.
