The illustrations by Dennis Jones are wonderful! Each "hero" illustrated throughout the book has a profile with symbols next to their name like a code. On the back of the book is the decoder for those symbols which describes the hero's best character traits. The translation is the New International Reader's Version which targets children. I plan on showing the hero illustrations to my 4-yr-old son as I read the Bible story to him. Very inspiring!
The Bible also has reading plans in the back and the ABCs of salvation. A great find!
