When I saw this book on the website, I assumed it was a short pamphlet or booklet on the church, similar to many other such publications found in the UK. I purchased it on a whim. When it arrived, however, I was amazed and delighted at a large, well made book covering the history of the parish as well as its several church structures. It is a massive book, bound in purple cloth over boards and in signatures. Even the dust jacket was in excellent condition. The only flaw to the book is that one signature is doubled in the binding. A minor annoyance to the reader, to my mind.
I look forward to reading and referring to this book for many years to come. It is a book to last the ages.
